The Remote Sales Rep remotely sells Medtronic products to assigned territories and customer accounts, develops and closes business leads, and retains existing customers to achieve or exceed sales goals. The role also promotes and educates customers about products or services, manages customer concerns, coordinates product demonstrations, and supports field sales representatives with calls, data analysis, opportunity identification, and follow-up.
The position requires a high school diploma with at least six years of relevant experience, an associate’s degree with at least four years, or a bachelor’s degree with at least two years. Relevant experience may be in sales, customer support, medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences. The role involves managing accounts, implementing sales strategies, negotiating with external parties, and working independently with general supervision.
Remotely sells Medtronic products and retains customers within assigned geographic areas, territories, and accounts to achieve or exceed sales goals.
Identifies, develops, and closes business leads and refers internal leads when appropriate.
Promotes products and services, provides customer education, and manages customer concerns and problems.
Arranges product demonstrations by field sales representatives.
Supports field sales representatives with sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and follow-up.
High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of experience, or associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
Relevant sales, customer support, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
