This Privacy Policy describes how Bangkok Jobs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, interact with job listings, or engage with ads served through our advertising partners.
We collect information you voluntarily provide when creating job alerts, signing in, submitting a paid job listing, uploading a resume for matching, applying through outbound links, or contacting us. This can include your name, email address, employer details, job listing details, payment status, resume file metadata, structured resume analysis, and messages you send to Bangkok Jobs.
If you use resume matching, we store your uploaded resume privately in S3 for up to 30 days unless you delete it earlier. We extract text from the file to create a structured fit profile and job-search signals, but we do not store the raw extracted resume text in our database. We may send the extracted resume text to an AI provider solely to generate the fit profile used for job matching.
We collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, search activity, referral URLs, and approximate location. We use this information to secure the platform, understand site performance, improve job discovery, and prevent abuse.
Bangkok Jobs includes Google AdSense code so that Google can review our site for the AdSense program and, once approved, support the site with advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers to serve ads, personalize ads where permitted, measure ad performance, detect fraud, and limit repeated ads. Before serving personalized ads in regions that require user consent, we plan to configure a Google-certified consent management platform.
We use analytics tools including PostHog and Google Analytics to understand aggregated usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the job search experience. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure page views, searches, and interactions.
