AFRY is hiring a Senior Consultant for Risk & Safety to strengthen its Energy consulting business in Southeast Asia. The role combines technical consultancy with business development, supporting clients across LNG, LNG-to-Power, gas infrastructure, Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Power-to-X, and CCUS projects throughout the project development lifecycle, including feasibility studies, technical due diligence, concept studies, owner's engineering, FEED advisory, and specialist Risk & Safety studies. The position requires a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline and 5–10 years of relevant experience in Process Safety, Technical Safety, Risk Engineering, or technical consultancy. Candidates should have strong experience in QRA, FERA, consequence modelling, gas dispersion, and cryogenic spill assessments, with proficiency in tools such as PHAST, SAFETI, Riskcurves, and FLACS. Prior experience with an international engineering consultancy and knowledge of the Indonesian energy market are advantageous. The role is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with international relocation available.

Sr. Technical /Business Development Consultant -LNG & Green Fuels ( Dual Seller)

AFRY is seeking a senior technical and business development consultant to expand its LNG and green fuels consulting business in Southeast Asia. Based in Thailand with regional travel, the role reports to the Head of LNG and Green Fuels - SEA and combines client development, proposals, sales, market expansion, and strategic reporting with technical consulting work. The position is full-time. The successful candidate should have at least 15 years of LNG, oil and gas, and green fuels experience, a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, and an MBA is preferred. The role requires a record of energy-sector business development in Southeast Asia, proposal and sales leadership, strong client relationships, and technical capability in feasibility studies, due diligence, conceptual design, and commercial work involving LNG, FLNG, green hydrogen, and green ammonia.

The position covers the project development lifecycle, including Feasibility Studies, Technical Due Diligence, Concept Studies, Owner's Engineering, FEED advisory, and specialist Risk & Safety studies. The role is based at AFRY's Bangkok office and involves close collaboration with regional and global teams.
