SR&T Director/Senior Manager - Strategy & Business Design (Energy/ Oil & Gas) - Thailand - Deloitte

This role is part of the Monitor Deloitte team within Deloitte Southeast Asia's Energy Resources & Industrials (ER&I) group. The position involves leading a team to provide rigorous, evidence-based analytical capabilities to clients. The primary focus is on solving complex issues through pragmatic recommendations, including developing strategic business models, conducting capability building, analyzing strategic options, stimulating innovation, and performing market analysis. The role requires a leader to foster a high-performance culture and manage client relationships.

Developing strategic business models to help clients determine the optimum business or commercial model

Capability building to help clients configure and develop their ability to deliver operational excellence

Strategic options analysis and evaluation to support key investment decisions

Stimulating innovation to identify new ways of working for growth

Market analysis to identify development opportunities

Tertiary qualification in business, technology or engineering discipline and/or currently enrolled in an MBA program

Local language proficiency, spoken and written is a plus

Minimum 12 years of professional experience in a strategic consulting role in the Energy, Resources sector

Demonstrated success in client engagements with topics such as Corporate and BU strategy, Asset Optimization, Portfolio Diversification, Sales & Distribution, Strategic Cost Reduction, Product & Pricing Optimization, and Digital Operating Model

Strong intellectual curiosity and creativity

Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources

Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly

Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines

Drive, tenacity, client focus, and results orientation
