About the position
Johnson Controls is hiring a Sales Engineer for its Rotational Development Program based in Bangkok, Thailand. The role is a structured early-career program in which participants rotate across HVAC, Building Management Systems, Fire & Security, Performance Contracting, and critical infrastructure segments such as data centers, government facilities, and healthcare institutions.
Participants shadow experienced sales managers, support proposal and quotation preparation, and gain cross-functional exposure to Legal, Procurement, Project & Service Operations, and the Global Center of Excellence. Candidates need a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 1-3 years of relevant experience, a self-driven mindset, and a passion for engaging with clients and solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
Rotate across HVAC, BMS, Fire & Security, Performance Contracting, and critical infrastructure segments
Shadow experienced sales managers during customer visits, solution walkthroughs, and project discussions
Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Project & Service Operations, and the Global Center of Excellence
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions with guidance
Participate in the full sales lifecycle: opportunity qualification, proposal, execution, and post-sales engagement
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
1-3 years of relevant experience
Self-driven, positive, and growth-oriented mindset
Passion for engaging with clients and solving technical challenges
Willingness to learn; mentorship will be provided
Nice to have
