Johnson Controls is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for its HVAC business in Bangkok. The role focuses on achieving sales targets and profit margin by acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and delivering tailored HVAC solutions.
Key duties include preparing accurate quotations, providing sales forecasts and collection reports, managing invoicing against purchase orders, gathering market intelligence on competitors, and coordinating with sales, service, and finance teams to ensure timely collections. The position also involves building relationships with dealers, consultants, and end users.
Generate and submit accurate quotations, sales forecasts and collection reports per company policy
Collaborate with customers on secured projects to implement supply scope and manage invoicing
Build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, consultants and end users
Expand the customer base and acquire new customers to drive business growth
Gather field intelligence on competitors and market trends in the HVAC sector
Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in HVAC sales (chillers), pumps, cooling towers, contractors
Experience selling to contractors, consultants, or company owners and managing projects
Knowledge of Building HVAC
Basic understanding of SAP operations would be advantageous
Experience in the construction industry is preferred
Ambition, strong project understanding, and good relationships with contractors and consultants
