The Senior Service Sales Engineer is part of the Service business in Thailand for Hitachi Energy, reporting to the Service Sales Manager. The role maintains and enhances customer satisfaction by providing technical solutions from the early stages of projects, supporting Sales Managers, driving sales volume and margin across the Service product portfolio, building long-term customer relationships, proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries, and preparing technical articles for publication.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) or a related field and more than 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering related to power transformers, substations, and LV/MV/HV switchgear. They should have knowledge of Substation Services and overseas markets (Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos), proficiency in SFDC and Microsoft Office, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel internationally.
Provide technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings.
Drive sales volume and margin across the Hitachi Energy Service product portfolio in collaboration with other business units.
Establish long-term customer relationships and promote product Life Cycle Management.
Prepare and review sales plans, proposing recovery actions to ensure targets are met.
Propose technical solutions for complex enquiries and prepare technical articles for publication.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) or related field.
More than 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering related to power transformers, substations, and LV/MV/HV switchgear.
Sound knowledge of Substation Services and overseas markets: Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
Proficient in SFDC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Good English communication skills with willingness to travel internationally.
Time management, presentation, and planning skills; ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers; experience with power transformer products, power substations, LV/MV/HV switchgear.
