About the position
The role provides technical medical expertise for underwriting decisions, customer enquiries, claims resolution, and healthcare services for policyholders. It involves guiding product development, underwriting, and claims colleagues, developing and implementing AIA healthcare programmes, and working with medical and wellness suppliers.
The specialist may also manage rehabilitation cases by assessing claimants’ needs, developing rehabilitation plans, and arranging relevant services. Additional related tasks may be assigned to support business policy, long-term business growth, workflow improvement, and a healthy working environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional guidance, medical advice, and relevant training to product development, underwriting, and claims colleagues
- Develop and implement AIA healthcare programmes
- Work with medical and wellness suppliers to support healthcare programmes
- Manage rehabilitation cases by assessing claimant needs, developing rehabilitation plans, and arranging services
- Complete other assigned tasks aligned with business policy and workflow improvement
