About the position

LINE MAN Wongnai is Thailand's leading on-demand delivery and lifestyle e-commerce platform. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our development team and help build the technology that powers our ecosystem. You will work on critical backend systems that serve millions of users daily across food delivery, ride-hailing, and financial services.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend systems using Golang and Java. You will lead architectural decisions for major components, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure high performance and reliability. The position requires a strong commitment to quality, from initial design through deployment and production maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend systems for LINE MAN Wongnai covering food delivery, ride-hailing, and financial products
  • Build high-performance back-office systems with a focus on scalability and reliability
  • Lead the design of major software components and drive cross-team collaboration
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and maintain system stability in production environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in developing software with Golang or Java
  • Strong experience with APIs and microservice architectures
  • Experience with test-driven development methodologies
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to create Docker images and deploy Docker containers
  • Proficiency in debugging large codebases and troubleshooting software issues

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Thai
