Agoda is hiring a Data Analyst to join the Global Service Verticals (GSV) Data Analytics team in Bangkok. The role delivers action-oriented analyses and recommendations to stakeholders, owning analytical projects from problem definition through data extraction, statistical analysis, and communicating findings to operational, marketing, product, and partner services teams. Typical projects include predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and dashboard design.
The position is open to freshers up to four years of relevant experience. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, SQL proficiency, expert Excel skills, strong problem-solving ability, business sense, and fluent English. Experience with R or Python and visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus. Relocation support is provided for international hires.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for analysis insight
Understand and report to team and senior management on business performance
Ensure delivery of regular reports on time and without error
Self-manage delivery of analytical projects, including defining the business problem, determining the analytical approach, extracting data, and applying statistical techniques
Share findings using impactful data visualizations and efficient communication; balance multiple priorities and update stakeholders on progress
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related field with outstanding academic results
SQL proficiency to extract data from large databases
Expert Excel user able to build complex spreadsheets
Strong problem-solving, business sense, and communication skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages a plus
Experience in management consulting
Expertise in one data analysis package such as R or Python
Experience with dashboarding or visualization software like Tableau
