Agoda, part of Booking Holdings, is hiring a Senior Network Operation Engineer for its Bangkok office within the IT Operations department. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining business operations through expertise in switching and routing protocols, managing network monitoring tools, GeoDNS, and CDN infrastructure, and handling incidents and service requests to resolution.
The position requires at least 5 years of network operations experience, a CCNA or equivalent certification (CCIE/JNCIE preferred), and proven experience with dynamic routing protocols such as eBGP, iBGP, and OSPF. Candidates should have worked in large enterprise or CDN/e-commerce environments and possess strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, MPLS, network security, DDoS protection, WAF, DNS, and load balancers.
Support and maintain business operations by leveraging comprehensive knowledge of switching and routing protocols
Deploy and manage network monitoring tools to ensure proactive infrastructure visibility
Manage global geographic DNS (GeoDNS) and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)
Proactively manage day-to-day service requests and incidents through to complete resolution
Identify, communicate, and escalate business-impacting networking issues, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and follow through to resolution
Minimum of 5 years of network operations experience
CCNA or equivalent certification required, with expert-level certifications (CCIE / JNCIE) strongly preferred
Proven experience working with dynamic routing protocols, including eBGP, iBGP, and OSPF
Extensive experience working in large enterprise organizations and dynamic environments, preferably with a CDN provider in the e-commerce sector
In-depth knowledge of WAN/LAN networking and modern IT technologies, including MPLS, Layer 2/3 technologies, routing and switching, network security, DDoS protection, WAF, DNS, and load balancers
Expert-level certifications (CCIE / JNCIE); familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Linux operating systems
