Salesforce is hiring an Industry CTO for Retail & Consumer Goods, based in Bangkok, Thailand, covering the ASEAN region. The role shapes Salesforce's industry technology vision, builds trusted C-level customer relationships, partners with sales and solution engineering on strategic opportunities, and represents ASEAN customer needs to product management. The successful candidate personally builds Salesforce solutions, demos, and AI prototypes, speaks at industry events, and applies competitive insight to inform positioning.
The role requires deep ASEAN and retail/consumer goods industry expertise, hands-on Salesforce technology knowledge, demonstrated AI passion with prototype-building experience, a track record of guiding large-scale enterprise transformation, and the ability to influence C-level technology investment decisions. Candidates should be operating at Director level or demonstrate equivalent leadership scope, with credibility built through senior architecture, advisory, or vendor roles serving the target industry.
Shape and champion the industry technology point of view through original perspectives, published content, and executive presentations
Represent Salesforce as an industry technology expert at events, forums, executive roundtables, and customer presentations
Develop and sustain trusted C-level relationships with key ASEAN customers as an industry technology advisor
Partner with sales and solution engineering on major opportunities, business cases, and executive engagement
Personally build Salesforce solutions, demos, and AI prototypes alongside technical teams to validate feasibility and business value
Strong understanding of retail/consumer goods industry business models, operating processes, and regulatory considerations across ASEAN markets
Demonstrated ability to assess emerging technologies, disruptions, and regulatory shifts and translate them into strategic recommendations
Track record of guiding large-scale industry-themed enterprise transformation across business lines
Deep practical Salesforce technology expertise with hands-on experience designing, configuring, and building solutions, demos, and prototypes
Track record of developing trusted C-level relationships at key ASEAN customers and influencing technology investment decisions
Published thought-leadership content; experience mentoring technical talent; ecosystem partner alignment; competitive landscape expertise across Salesforce alternatives
