This Project Engineer role manages engineering, technical coordination, and site execution for large-scale data center and critical facility HVAC projects. Responsibilities include coordinating HVAC design development, reviewing technical submissions, managing installation activities, supporting testing and commissioning, preparing handover documentation, assisting with cost and procurement control, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and have at least five years of HVAC project engineering experience. Hands-on HVAC installation, coordination, and commissioning experience is required, with commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical project delivery preferred. Familiarity with chilled-water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, MS Project, and Excel is expected.
Coordinate HVAC design development, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements
Manage day-to-day HVAC site activities and align work with approved drawings and schedules
Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning activities
Assist with cost control, variation evaluation, progress claims, and material procurement tracking
Ensure QA/QC, HSE, inspection, documentation, and handover requirements are met
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of HVAC project engineering experience
Hands-on experience with HVAC installation, coordination, and commissioning
Strong knowledge of chilled-water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
Familiarity with MS Project and Excel
Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects
Data center or mission-critical project experience
Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills
