The Senior Application Engineer (Controls) supports system design, configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning for electronic security projects. Responsibilities include developing system designs and technical documentation, specifying materials, inspecting and commissioning installations, supporting FAT and SAT, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with customers, project teams, engineers, and vendors.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering, at least five years of relevant security-system experience, and familiarity with platforms such as Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, Genetec, Milestone, and Traka. Candidates also need strong English, computer literacy, networking knowledge, and civil and electrical construction experience.
• Develop system architecture, security designs, device schedules, and technical specifications
• Prepare technical submissions and project documentation, including shop drawings, as-built drawings, manuals, and programming matrices
• Inspect, set up, test, and commission electronic security systems
• Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Coordinate with customers, project teams, construction partners, engineers, and vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant security-system installation, configuration, or servicing experience
• Experience with Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, HID, AMAG, BVMS, Interlogix, PIDS, DSC, or Kantech
• Strong English proficiency and computer literacy
• Networking knowledge covering MS Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, and fiber optics
Certification in Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, or BVMS; AutoCAD or Revu BlueBeam experience; strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to assist vendors and related parties; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
