The Data Center Operations Assistant supports the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of a critical data center environment at a client site in Bangkok. Responsibilities include assisting with 24x7 infrastructure monitoring, break-fix maintenance across server, networking, and storage hardware, installation and testing of equipment, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, asset and inventory management, SOP/MOP compliance, and supporting migrations and operational improvement projects.
The role requires 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical operations, with internship experience in data center operations preferred. Candidates should have basic knowledge of servers, networking, and storage, strong troubleshooting skills, and the flexibility to support 24x7 operations including weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties. Physical capability to handle hardware up to 50 lbs is required.
Support 24x7 monitoring of data center infrastructure and respond to alerts and incidents
Assist with break-fix maintenance across server, networking, and storage infrastructure
Help install, configure, and test hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connectivity, and network-related issues
Support preventive inspections, routine maintenance, asset and inventory management, and small-to-large scale projects
2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, technical operations, or a related field
Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders across functions
Flexible to support 24x7 operations including weekends, public holidays, and on-call requirements; physically capable of handling hardware up to 50 lbs
Internship experience in data center operations, IT support, or infrastructure environments; leadership potential with ability to support mentoring and training; commitment to continuous improvement and learning new technologies
