Senior Tech Lead (DevOps)

MakroPRO, a digital venture by Makro (under CP Axtra), is hiring a Senior Tech Lead (DevOps) in Bangkok to lead DevOps practices for its B2B e-commerce platform serving restaurant owners, hotels, and independent retailers. The role focuses on increasing delivery speed, improving code quality and security, optimizing developer workflows, and managing infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling and supporting services across multiple cloud providers. The position involves close collaboration with the development team and product owner to ensure features are properly tested and defects are prioritized.

The role requires proven manual acceptance testing experience at story level, exploratory testing, and work within sprint cycles, plus experience implementing automated end-to-end tests with frameworks such as BDD and Selenium, and the ability to code in JavaScript. Candidates should have a "desire to break" attitude and skill in finding hidden requirements and edge cases.

Ensure every feature developed by the team is tested through test design, test execution, and interpretation of results

Gain intimate knowledge of the product to ensure feedback is aligned with the product vision

Feed the team with detailed information on any defects found and help the Product Owner prioritize defects

Identify bottlenecks of various development and delivery processes and work with team members to improve them

Manage infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling and supporting services on multiple cloud providers along with metrics and logging

Proven experience with manual acceptance testing at story level, exploratory and creative testing, within fast-paced sprint cycles

Skilled at finding hidden requirements, edge cases, and a "desire to break" attitude

Experience implementing automated end-to-end tests

Experience with frameworks and tools such as BDD and Selenium

Ability to code in JavaScript
