The Senior Product Owner will own the product roadmap for POS, Back Office, and E-Payment systems across Makro Thailand. The role involves evolving into the primary domain SME and product owner for this space, leading the Makro Philippines POS/Back Office initiative, and managing vendor governance. Responsibilities include defining features, writing PRDs, managing the product backlog, and establishing structured product ownership practices.
Own the product roadmap for POS, Back Office, and E-Payment systems across Makro Thailand
Become the primary domain SME for POS/BO technology
Lead the Makro Philippines POS/Back Office initiative
Define and prioritize features and system enhancements
Write PRDs, manage the product backlog, and deliver features
Manage cross-functional stakeholders across Thailand and Philippines operations
Establish structured product ownership practices
5–8 years of product management or product ownership experience with POS, retail technology, or store operations systems
Strong understanding of POS architecture, back office processing, and payment integration
Experience managing vendor relationships and driving requirements in vendor-led implementations
Ability to operate as a domain SME
Comfortable working across multiple geographies
Structured thinking and strong stakeholder management
Fluency in English; Thai is an advantage
Prior experience with POS/payment vendor implementations
Experience in wholesale, hypermarket, or large-format retail environments
Familiarity with Oracle Retail or similar ERP-integrated retail operations platforms
Experience in cross-country technology rollouts or multi-market programmes
