Thai Union Group PCL is hiring a Department Manager-level Product Owner for Foundation Compute in Bangkok. The role owns the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of enterprise compute and cloud infrastructure services across global operations, covering AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and on-premises environments. Responsibilities include defining the service catalogue, prioritising the backlog, guiding migration and automation, owning service levels, risk and cost transparency, and leading engineers and managed service providers.
The position requires at least 10 years in cloud infrastructure, IT operations or enterprise technology services, with strong AWS and Azure experience, proven product ownership and at least 3 years leading engineers or cross-functional delivery teams. A bachelor's degree in a related technical field, relevant cloud certifications, and strong written and spoken English and Thai are expected.
Define the service catalogue, roadmap and lifecycle standards for cloud, servers, virtualization, storage, backup and disaster recovery
Own and prioritise the backlog, acceptance criteria, dependencies and releases; track adoption and measurable outcomes
Own the compute solution direction across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and on-premises environments; guide migration, modernization, infrastructure as code and automation
Set service levels and operational controls; review incidents, problems, changes, backup results and disaster recovery tests with accountable service teams
Own cloud and compute cost transparency, budgets, forecasts and optimization; manage technology and managed service vendors
Minimum 10 years in Cloud Infrastructure, IT Operations, or Enterprise Technology Services in a complex enterprise environment
Strong practical experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, plus familiarity with Google Cloud
Proven experience as a product owner or equivalent service/platform owner, setting a roadmap and prioritising a backlog
At least 3 years of leadership experience with engineers, operations teams or cross-functional delivery teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related technical field; strong written and spoken English and Thai
AWS and/or Azure certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, CloudOps Engineer, Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect); Windows Server hybrid, VMware, Linux or enterprise backup certification; relevant postgraduate degree
