Senior Product Owner role at CP Axtra (makro-pro) leading the Oracle Fusion Finance product. The position owns the roadmap and backlog, defines functional solutions across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Cash Management and related finance modules, and translates business needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. The role partners with Finance, Risk and Compliance, Technology and vendors to protect financial controls, manage dependencies, coordinate testing and releases, resolve production issues, and continuously improve the product.
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of ERP finance implementation, product ownership, functional consulting or application management experience, including significant Oracle Fusion Finance work. Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP and AR, understanding of financial close and controls, and ability to discuss APIs, FBDI, OIC, BI Publisher and SQL with technical teams are required. Retail, wholesale or high-volume transaction experience is a plus.
Own the Oracle Fusion Finance roadmap, gathering needs from Finance and stakeholders and prioritizing enhancements, defects and operational improvements.
Lead functional solution design across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Cash Management, Project Portfolio Management and related finance functions.
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and functional specifications for internal teams and vendors.
Protect financial controls by working with Finance, Risk and Compliance, and IT on segregation of duties, user access, approvals and audit trails.
Guide testing and release decisions, coordinate UAT, review defects, confirm business readiness and support cutover, deployment and hypercare.
Resolve production issues and manage stakeholders, vendors, dependencies and continuous product improvements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in ERP finance implementation, product ownership, functional consulting or application management, including significant Oracle Fusion Finance experience.
Strong functional understanding of GL, AP and AR, with Fixed Assets, Procurement, Tax or Cash Management experience considered an advantage.
Experience managing a product backlog and guiding changes through requirements, design, testing, release and production support.
Good understanding of accounting processes, financial close, reconciliation, approvals, financial controls, segregation of duties, role-based access and audit requirements.
Experience in retail, wholesale, e-commerce or high transaction volume environments.
Experience with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Procurement or Finance Operations.
Familiarity with Agile delivery, SDLC and vendor-managed application support.
Experience with data analytics, automation or RPA in finance processes.
Experience supporting an Oracle Fusion rollout, cutover or post-go-live stabilization.
