Agoda is hiring a Junior Application Specialist – Salesforce Developer for the Strategic Partnerships team in Bangkok. The role maintains existing Salesforce functionality across SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and ExperienceCloud, and supports the design, development, and implementation of new features for the commercial organization. The position combines Salesforce administration, light technical implementation, stakeholder management, and user adoption, with a focus on automation, scalability, and data quality.
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience and strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, administration, and platform functionality. They should understand relational databases, integrations, and source-to-target data mappings, and be familiar with agile development practices. Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and communication skills are required, with Salesforce Administrator or Sales/Service Cloud certifications considered a plus.
User Experience & Adoption: Maintain existing Salesforce tooling, ensure user satisfaction, and champion continuous improvements in UI/UX (Lightning App Builder, page layouts, dynamic forms)
Core Administration & Scalability: Perform system administration including user management, validation rules, Lightning Flows, record types, and mobile setup
Implement Salesforce features with a focus on automation and efficiency using Flows, standard OOTB automations, and where needed APEX/Javascript
Release & Change Management: Support release management, sandbox refreshes, deployment planning, UAT coordination, and document changes
Security & Health Checks: Review data security, sharing rules, ensure GDPR compliance, monitor system performance and storage usage, and manage data backup systems
1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience for the Application Specialist role
Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, administration, and platform functionality
Experience designing and implementing new processes and improving user adoption
Understanding of relational databases, integrations, and source-to-target data mappings
Familiarity with agile development practices, tools, and frameworks; strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and communication skills
Experience working across both configuration and light technical implementation; exposure to APIs and service-oriented architecture; Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud certification is a plus
