About the position
This role involves negotiating favourable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods and services. The Associate Director will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders from end to end. Responsibilities
Negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and third-party providers
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders from end to end
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiency
Establish procurement controls and guidelines
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to AIA policies
Requirements
Discuss problems on delivery and performance with suppliers and third-party providers
Involve in organisation-wide sourcing and procurement projects
Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth
