Data Analyst (SPX Express) - Business Intelligence and Data Analytics - Shopee

This role involves analyzing internal and external data using SQL, Python, and Excel to deliver original insights. The analyst will serve as an in-house consultant for AI and data solutions, advising on the adoption of AI tools to solve business problems. Responsibilities include translating complex analysis into accessible reports, maintaining data pipelines and dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to build analytics capabilities. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, structural thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Analyze internal and external data using SQL, Python, and Excel

Apply structured frameworks to estimate hard-to-find information and utilize AI-driven synthesis

Improve existing estimation and forecast solutions through scrutiny of assumptions and sensitivity analysis

Translate complex data analysis into accessible business-focused reports and recommendations

Present results to management on a regular basis

Serve as an in-house AI & Data consultant for data-driven solutions

Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics capabilities

Maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and AI-powered automations

Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field of study

Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Engineering

Strong SQL skills required, complemented by experience in other languages (Python, Spark)

Strong analytical skills and comfort with quantitative data analysis

Good structural thinker and detail oriented

Experience working with multiple stakeholders across various divisions

Satisfactory understanding in English

Self-driven with willingness to learn and improve

Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
