About the position
Data Analyst role within the Data Analytics team of the Investment Solutions Department at Kiatnakin Phatra Securities Public Company Limited, a leading onshore wealth manager. The position supports wealth management by collecting and interpreting data, designing the data environment, generating insights for management decisions, preparing reports and presentations, and acting as a data steward. The role collaborates with other departments and external vendors to define requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Statistics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience as a data or business analyst. Candidates should have experience with large data sets and relational databases, knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java.
Responsibilities
Collect, organize and interpret statistical information
Identify, manage and design the data environment including data sources, security, and metadata
Scrutinize information using data analysis tools
Generate meaningful results to support management decision-making by identifying facts and trends
Prepare reports and presentations based on analysis and present to management
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Statistics, or related field
3-5 years of work experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or related field
Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases
Knowledge of data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau
Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java
