The Senior Market Insights Analyst sits on Grab's Regional Market Insights Team in Bangkok, supporting Competitive Strategy by gathering and interpreting market data into recommendations that shape operational direction. The role reports to the Lead Market Analyst and involves partnering with business and data teams, guiding a 30-person ground operations team in Thailand, and managing external research vendors.
Candidates need at least 5 years of experience from consulting or management, with the technology sector considered a plus. Strong critical thinking, communication, cross-team collaboration, spoken Thai proficiency, adaptability, and willingness to travel within Thailand and Southeast Asia are required.
Deliver Strategic Market Insights: Conduct mixed-methods research to analyze market dynamics and trends and deliver recommendations to business leaders
Partner with Business Teams: Align research priorities with operational and strategic goals to support important decisions
Scale Intelligence Infrastructure: Partner with the data team to build scalable tools and systems for gathering market intelligence
Lead Regional Field Operations: Support and guide a 30-person ground operations team in Thailand for consistent data collection
Manage Vendor Partnerships: Build relationships with external research firms and data providers to supplement intelligence capabilities
At least 5 years of experience from consulting or management; technology sector experience is a plus
Critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate evidence from multiple sources
Strong communication skills to translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations
Ability to work effectively across teams and build collaborative relationships with business, technology, and research partners
Proficiency in spoken Thai to guide the ground operations team and engage with local stakeholders
