About the position

This role focuses on managing monthly budgeting processes, including cost tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting to ensure financial efficiency. You will identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to optimize the last-mile cost structure. The position involves developing insights and strategies to optimize driver supply, productivity, and overall P&L performance. You will lead end-to-end projects to drive operational and cost optimization initiatives while analyzing project performance and communicating key insights to cross-functional stakeholders. Additionally, you will support strategic partner management, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives.

You will work in a dynamic environment where you must be comfortable handling ad-hoc tasks and shifting priorities. The role requires a self-driven individual with a strong willingness to learn and improve continuously. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment with broader business goals and drive sustainable cost reductions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage monthly budgeting, including cost tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to optimize last-mile cost structure
  • Develop insights and strategies to optimize driver supply, productivity, and overall P&L
  • Lead end-to-end projects to drive operational and cost optimization initiatives
  • Analyze the performance of projects and initiatives, and effectively communicate key insights and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support strategic partner management, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and improvement initiatives for partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in strategy, business planning, project management, operations, or data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling using Google Sheets
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
  • Comfortable handling ad-hoc tasks and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Self-driven with a willingness to learn and improve

Nice to have

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data modeling
  • Experience with data visualization tools to present insights effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
