Lead Line Haul Operations Manager

Shopee's Operations team manages the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring a seamless experience from product listing to final delivery. This role focuses on Middle Mile Line Haul operations, overseeing the critical transportation and distribution network that connects regional hubs. You will lead a team responsible for optimizing traffic flow, yard management, and overall operational efficiency within SPX facilities. The position requires a strategic leader who can drive performance improvements in speed, capacity, and cost while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

As a Lead Line Haul Manager, you will be the primary driver for daily logistics execution and strategic planning. You will recruit, train, and mentor staff including control tower and ground teams to ensure high performance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional departments to integrate processes and resolve operational bottlenecks. You will also be responsible for enforcing policies, conducting root cause analysis on performance fluctuations, and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and cost reduction.

• Lead and manage daily logistics operations for Middle Mile Line Haul
• Develop and execute Traffic and Yard management strategies across SPX facilities
• Drive performance improvements in delivery speed, capacity utilization, and operational costs
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Recruit, train, and manage staff including control tower, ground teams, and traffic/yard controllers
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of processes and execution
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including health, safety, and transportation standards
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions

• 3-5 years of experience in the logistics industry preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have strong English communication abilities
• Ability to drive and travel as required for site visits and operations oversight
