About the position

This role focuses on analyzing complex datasets to optimize first-mile pickup routes and fleet utilization. You will identify operational bottlenecks and develop strategic initiatives to reduce costs and improve driver productivity. The position involves building operational dashboards to monitor fleet health and translating data into actionable insights for senior leadership. You will also communicate complex findings to stakeholders to ensure alignment across field operations and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets regarding first-mile pickup routes, driver capacity, and fleet utilization to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Develop strategic initiatives to reduce cost-per-pickup and optimize the vehicle type mix
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards to monitor live fleet health and historical performance trends
  • Translate complex fleet data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for leadership
  • Communicate operational findings and strategic changes clearly to all stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics strategy, route optimization, management consulting, or e-commerce/express delivery
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables, data modeling, and complex functions
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a strong plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate data-driven insights clearly
  • Proven stakeholder management skills to align strategic goals with field operations and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic operational environments under tight deadlines

Nice to have

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Background in management consulting or e-commerce logistics
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from raw data
