SOC Facility Setup Engineer - Shopee

This role focuses on the on-site execution and delivery of warehouse projects for SPX Express. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are completed on time, within scope, and strictly adhere to engineering and operational requirements. The position involves overseeing daily construction progress, conducting quality inspections, and coordinating with various internal teams and external contractors to resolve site issues and minimize delays. You will also ensure that the facility design aligns with operational needs, such as truck flow and dock usability, while tracking milestones and providing regular progress updates.

The Operations team at Shopee manages the end-to-end process from product listing to final delivery. This role supports that mission by building the physical infrastructure necessary for efficient logistics. You will work closely with consultants and internal stakeholders to identify risks and implement solutions that keep projects on schedule. The position requires a hands-on approach to site management and a strong ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical teams.

• Execute on-site construction projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and engineering requirements
• Monitor daily construction activities and track progress against established timelines
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to align project goals
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays and rework
• Ensure facility design aligns with operational requirements such as truck flow and dock usability
• Track project milestones and provide regular progress and risk updates

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 4–6 years of experience in construction or site engineering
• Strong knowledge of site development, drainage, roads, and utilities
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively on-site
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent design software

• Experience with warehouse facility design or logistics infrastructure
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Strong project management skills
