Cross-Functional Project Management Executive - Shopee

This role focuses on identifying and optimizing operational processes through the strategic application of automation and artificial intelligence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze existing workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and define clear business objectives. The position involves designing, building, and deploying AI-enabled solutions that integrate seamlessly into daily operations. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these solutions, from initial testing and validation to user training and final rollout. Additionally, you will leverage SQL and analytical tools to measure the performance of implemented solutions and their impact on business metrics.

You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable technical plans. The role requires a strong ability to structure clear narratives for diverse audiences, ensuring that both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand the value of proposed changes. You will manage the integration of AI models and tools using APIs, scripts, and automation platforms to enhance operational efficiency. Continuous support for user adoption and troubleshooting will be essential to ensure the long-term success of the implemented solutions.

• Identify and evaluate operational processes suitable for automation or redesign, considering impact, feasibility, and scalability.
• Partner with functional teams to map current processes, identify pain points, and define business rules and desired outcomes.
• Design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions and automations to improve operational efficiency.
• Integrate AI models and tools with operational workflows using APIs, scripts, databases, forms, and automation platforms.
• Develop comprehensive testing and validation approaches to ensure solution accuracy, reliability, and data privacy.
• Support user testing, rollout, training, and adoption by collaborating with functional owners and frontline users.
• Use SQL and analytical tools to explore datasets, establish performance baselines, diagnose issues, and measure solution impact.
• Structure and deliver clear presentations to both business and technical audiences.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one workflow automation or low-code tool such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, with a strong preference for Python or JavaScript.
• Practical understanding of generative AI/LLMs, including prompting, limitations, hallucination risk, context management, and structured outputs.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, webhooks, databases, Git, or cloud tools is preferred.
• Strong SQL capabilities including data extraction, joins, aggregation, validation, and performance analysis.

• Experience with automation/low-code tools (n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar) is a plus.
• Exposure to AI patterns such as RAG, embeddings, document processing, classification, extraction, agents, or model evaluation is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
