T&T Manager - Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions - FSI - Japanese Client Services - SEA - Deloitte

Deloitte is seeking a T&T Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives for Japanese financial institutions across Southeast Asia. This role focuses on supporting the modernization of business processes and data visualization for clients in the banking, securities, and insurance sectors. You will manage mixed teams of local and Japanese Client Services members, overseeing project execution while driving business development and client growth. The position requires a strategic leader who can navigate complex regulatory environments and deliver high-quality consulting solutions.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project lifecycles, from process design and data management to system implementation. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and operational efficiency. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and high performance within your team.

This position is based in Bangkok but offers the opportunity to engage with clients and colleagues across the Southeast Asian region, including Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Jakarta, and Singapore. You will leverage your expertise in the financial services industry to drive impactful change and contribute to Deloitte's mission of making a difference in the communities we serve.

• Lead mixed teams of local and Japanese Client Services members to execute global projects for financial institutions
• Drive business development and client acquisition through proposal activities and relationship management
• Design and implement operational process improvements and data visualization solutions
• Manage project lifecycles from initiation through delivery, ensuring high-quality results
• Mentor and develop diverse team members to enhance their professional capabilities
• Align project objectives with client priorities and internal stakeholder expectations
• Apply industry knowledge to recommend disruptive trends and leading practices

• Native level proficiency in Japanese and business level proficiency in English, or vice versa
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting or systems integration (SI) with a focus on the financial sector
• Proven track record of leading projects and contributing to securing new business through proposal activities
• Experience working in mixed teams to execute global projects
• Background in operational process improvement, PMO for system implementation, or implementation support
• Southeast Asia related consulting experience
• Deep domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
• Banking: Core banking systems, accounting systems, and peripheral operational systems
• Insurance: Life and non-life insurance operations, insurance administration, and core business processes
• Securities: Securities industry operations and regulatory frameworks

• Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering team members and fostering a collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics and build productive relationships with international clients
• Understanding of sustainable business practices and purpose-led growth strategies
