GrabMart, Grab's online quick commerce delivery service, is hiring a Manager, Merchant Acquisition in Bangkok to drive merchant growth and expand supply coverage across categories. The role leads end-to-end retail acquisition, from prospecting through contract signing, and partners with internal teams to onboard and activate new merchants.
The position requires at least 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and familiarity with quick commerce, e-commerce, O2O, or retail tech. Strong communication in Thai and English, advanced Excel skills, and team management experience are essential.
Identify strategic merchant gaps and categories to enhance GrabMart's supply coverage and quality
Manage end-to-end retail acquisition, from identifying prospects to successful contract signage
Lead contract negotiations and develop customized partnership proposals for merchants
Improve and standardize onboarding structure and processes for scalable merchant activation
Collaborate with internal partners to align acquisition efforts and enhance merchant experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition
Understanding of quick commerce, e-commerce, O2O, or retail tech industry
Communication skills in both Thai and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to perform complex functions and create insights
Knowledge of digital marketplaces and quick commerce delivery services
Team and people management experience
