The Director of Sales - Leisure & Luxury Travel is based at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury hotel and resort brand. The role serves as the main sales contact for existing and potential customers, negotiating and confirming events in line with the hotel's sales strategy.
Responsibilities include identifying up-selling opportunities, maximizing revenue through catering and group bookings, and handling customer inquiries efficiently to close sales. Candidates need a bachelor's degree, at least five years of hotel sales experience, luxury brand background with Leisure & Luxury Consortia expertise, strong sales and analytical skills, English proficiency, and excellent negotiation abilities.
Serve as the sales point of contact for all existing and potential customers to the hotel
Negotiate and confirm all events within the guidelines of the hotel's sales strategy
Identify up-selling opportunities
Maximize revenue through catering and group bookings
Provide efficient and effective service to handle customer inquiries within predefined parameters in order to close sales
Bachelor's degree in any related field
At least 5 years' experience in hotel sales
Experience in luxury hotel brands with strong Leisure & Luxury Consortia sector
Strong sales and analytical knowledge
Proficient in English and computer literate with excellent negotiation skills
