You will lead Agoda’s employee-facing People service delivery model across People Help Desk / Tier 1 support, Tier 0 / self-service foundations, and Global People Relations Services. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping how employees and managers access support across a wide range of People topics—from day-to-day HR questions and lifecycle support to more complex and sensitive employee matters requiring specialist intervention. You will own the effectiveness of Agoda’s People support model from the employee and manager perspective, ensuring it is clear, trusted, scalable, and increasingly insight-driven. This role involves leading teams responsible for Tier 1 Help Desk services, Tier 0 self-service and knowledge foundations, and Global People Relations Services. You will establish strong service principles, operating rhythms, and leadership across the teams responsible for day-to-day People support and complex employee issue resolution. This position is based in Bangkok, and Agoda provides relocation support for successful candidates who are not currently located in Bangkok.
As a key member of the Global Payroll team in Bangkok, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate processing of international payroll transactions. You will ensure strict compliance with local laws and regulations while managing monthly payroll activities for assigned countries. This role involves coordinating with external vendors to handle tax filings and statutory payments, as well as leading process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal People teams and external partners to establish procedures for new systems and countries. Additionally, you will support payroll migration projects and vendor transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The role requires managing inquiries from stakeholders and participating in audits to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
The HR Business Partner for the Commercial function will serve as a strategic partner to Agoda's Supply and Strategic Partnerships teams. This role involves driving people strategies and supporting organizational effectiveness to align with business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and People Centers of Excellence to deliver on people priorities and support the company's evolving needs. In this position, you will define and deliver a compelling People Roadmap that addresses both company-wide priorities and the unique needs of specific departments. You will use data and insights to inform decision-making and track the impact of people initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as a change agent, leading talent identification, retention, and development efforts to build a strong leadership bench.
