LSEG is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for its FX vertical in Bangkok. The role develops automation frameworks and performs functional, regression, API, database, integration, infrastructure, deployment, and performance testing for advanced FX trading platforms and latency-sensitive systems.
Candidates should have at least four years of QA automation experience and hands-on Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven skills. Experience with FIX protocol testing, server-side and integration testing, AWS Viking environments, Docker, Kubernetes, test strategy, and test-plan maintenance is expected or preferred. The role also requires familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and collaboration in an Agile environment.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven.
Perform FIX protocol testing across pricing, quote, and order workflows.
Conduct server-side, API, integration, and PriceStream platform testing.
Support infrastructure and deployment testing, including AWS Viking cloud environments.
Execute functional, regression, API, database, load, stress, and fault-tolerance testing.
4+ years of QA automation experience and knowledge of QA processes and best practices.
Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, Maven, and API, GUI, and database testing.
Experience with or exposure to FIX protocol and server-side, backend, and integration testing.
Exposure to infrastructure testing, AWS Viking cloud environments, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Understanding of technical architecture, test strategy, test-plan maintenance, mocks, and simulator components.
Exposure to FIX Protocol and Kafka messaging; background or interest in FX trading or financial technology; skill in performance bottleneck resolution or distributed-systems debugging; experience with AI-assisted engineering tools.
