LSEG is hiring a Senior Lead QA Engineer for its FX vertical in Bangkok to lead the PriceStream QA team. The role owns the test strategy and quality roadmap for FX pricing and rate-streaming systems on a multi-dealer platform, driving end-to-end testing delivery, automation framework architecture, FIX protocol testing, performance testing, and production RCA. The position combines hands-on automation work with technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration in an Agile environment.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of QA automation experience including team or technical leadership, deep hands-on expertise with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, Maven, FIX protocol testing, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI-assisted engineering tools. Experience in FX trading or financial technology is preferred.
Own and drive the test strategy and quality roadmap for the PriceStream platform
Own end-to-end testing delivery across all releases, partnering with TPM, development lead, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams
Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven
Define and lead the FIX protocol test strategy across pricing, quote, and order workflows
Lead performance testing (load, stress, fault tolerance) on latency-critical pricing and distribution paths, and mentor QA engineers
8+ years of experience in QA automation, including team or technical leadership
Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven
Deep hands-on experience testing the FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol
Experience with API, GUI, and database testing, and AWS (Viking) cloud environments
Proficient with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex)
Experience with FIX Protocol and Kafka messaging
Background in FX trading or financial technology
Experience solving performance bottlenecks or debugging distributed systems
Curiosity about financial markets
