The Critical Facilities Supervisor leads onsite plant operations and the safe, reliable, compliant delivery of 24/7 maintenance services at a mission-critical data center. The role supervises Plant Operations personnel, oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, manages risk and escalation, and monitors service delivery against client SLAs, KPIs, budgets, safety requirements, and procedures.
The position requires at least eight years of relevant experience in critical facility operations, maintenance management, or engineering, with supervisory data center experience preferred. Candidates need strong mechanical and electrical infrastructure knowledge, CMMS and monitoring platform proficiency, leadership and incident-response skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Lead onsite Plant Operations and deliver safe, reliable 24/7 maintenance services in line with client SLAs and KPIs.
Supervise the Plant Operations team and ensure sufficient qualified personnel are available.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, work orders, records, site reviews, and equipment health monitoring.
Maintain compliance with client policies, safety requirements, regulatory requirements, and company electrical safety programs.
Manage operational risks, incidents, escalation, and proactive client communication.
8+ years of relevant critical facilities, maintenance management, or engineering experience in a mission-critical environment.
Supervisory experience in a Tier III or equivalent data center or mission-critical facility is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, safety regulations, and preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Proficiency with CMMS, BMS, and PMS platforms, plus operations management and reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; CDCP is advantageous.
Industry-recognized data center qualification such as CDCP; supervisory experience in a Tier III or equivalent data center or mission-critical facility.
