The role is a backend engineering squad lead position at KKP (ธนาคารเกียรตินาคินภัทร จำกัด (มหาชน)) within the Digital & Technology function, based in Bangkok, Thailand. The selected candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices in Go, collaborating with product managers, DevOps, and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong Golang focus. The role requires solid knowledge of Go internals, RESTful/gRPC APIs, relational and non-relational databases, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, distributed systems, microservices, Git, and Agile/Scrum, plus mentoring of junior developers.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Go (Golang)
Develop APIs and microservices that align with product requirements and architectural standards
Collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
Participate in system architecture and design reviews to ensure robustness and scalability
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership as needed
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Golang
Solid understanding of Go runtime, goroutines, channels, and memory management
Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful and/or gRPC APIs
Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with event-driven design and Agile/Scrum methodologies
