Agoda is hiring a Senior Product Manager (Japanese Speaking) based in Tokyo or Bangkok, with visa and relocation support provided. The role owns product strategy and roadmap for Agoda's website, mobile apps, email marketing, and internal tools such as PPC bidding and pricing systems. The Product Manager works with business heads, marketing, developers, and senior management to drive innovation in a fast-paced, data-driven e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, defining KPIs, identifying gaps between business needs and practice, and proposing solutions across process, technology, and partners. Candidates must be native Japanese speakers with strong analytics skills, experience in fast-paced high-growth environments, and a passion for web design and emerging internet technologies. An MBA or advanced degree in Math, Computer Science, or Statistics is preferred.
Study processes and systems to analyze effectiveness of our organization to maximize our growth in identified strategic markets
Establish performance benchmark for each business drivers that caters to the characteristics of the strategic market
Identify business needs through detail investigation into business practice of competition, local business practice, customer behavior
Identify gaps between business needs and business practice to provide recommendations on solutions
Define KPIs for all projects and evaluating the success of a project
NATIVE Japanese Speaker
Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making
Experience with emerging data-mining technology
Experience working in a fast-paced and high growth environment
MBA or advanced Math, Computer Science or Statistics degree preferred
