The Senior Security Operations role at Shopee's SPX Express logistics arm in Bangkok oversees end-to-end security across Sorting Centers, Hubs, Warehouses, and Last Mile facilities. Responsibilities include developing security strategies, mitigating risks such as parcel losses, theft, fraud, and misconduct, managing incidents and crisis response, leveraging technology and data analytics, establishing SOPs and control frameworks, and managing security service providers. The role collaborates with Operations, HR, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive strategic security improvements.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Security Management, Risk Management, Logistics, or a related field, plus 5–10 years of experience in Security Operations, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, or Corporate Security, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or large-scale operations. Proven leadership across multiple sites, expertise in risk assessment, loss prevention, fraud investigation, incident management, and crisis response are required, along with strong analytical, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Oversee end-to-end security operations across Sorting Centers, Hubs, Warehouses, and Last Mile facilities
Develop and implement security strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across SPX
Establish preventive measures to minimize parcel losses, theft, fraud, and operational misconduct
Manage complex security incidents, investigations, and crisis response
Leverage technology, automation, data analytics, and security systems to enhance operational efficiency
Establish security policies, SOPs, and control frameworks across the logistics network
Oversee security service providers and drive performance improvements through KPIs
Collaborate with Operations, HR, Legal, and other stakeholders on strategic security improvements
Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Security Management, Risk Management, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Security Operations, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Corporate Security, or related functions
Proven leadership experience managing security operations across multiple sites including warehouses and distribution centers
Strong expertise in risk assessment, loss prevention, fraud investigation, incident management, and crisis response
Experience in security strategy, process improvement, security technology implementation, and operational efficiency enhancement
Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
