This role sits within Deloitte's Direct Tax / Tax & Legal (T&L) service line in Bangkok, focused on Business Tax for M&A. The position involves managing engagements and performing tax advisory, tax due diligence, tax reviews, and agreement reviews for domestic and cross-border M&A projects, as well as corporate income tax compliance and assisting clients with tax controversy matters involving the Revenue Department. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related field (Master's is a plus), have over 5 years of experience in auditing or taxation, ideally with Big 4 or professional firm exposure, and possess strong English communication, analytical and organizational skills.
Manage engagements and carry out tax advisory works dealing with domestic and international taxation
Perform tax review and tax due diligence and provide tax advisory for M&A projects, including agreement review
Provide tax advisory on both domestic and cross-border tax issues
Assist clients with tax controversy matters with the Revenue Department
Manage tax compliance engagements, including preparation of corporate income tax returns
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or other related degree; Master's degree is a plus
Over 5 years experience in auditing or taxation
Accounting and auditing background with good tax technical knowledge and analytical skills
Experience working in Big 4s or professional firms
Excellent command of English in both writing and speaking, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
