About the position
This role focuses on consulting for Japanese companies in Southeast Asia regarding digital transformation, specifically utilizing AI and data. The position involves transitioning clients from simple data visualization to complex analytics and applying AI across the entire value chain. Responsibilities include high-level strategy formulation, solution implementation, managed services, and training. The role requires leading mixed teams of local and Japanese Client Services members to manage projects and support client development.
Responsibilities
Lead mixed teams of local and JCS members to manage projects
Support project and client development
Formulate high-level strategies for clients
Collaborate with consulting teams to determine technology and project structures
Provide training to clients if needed
Identify and clarify client issues before selecting solutions
Requirements
Native-level proficiency in Japanese with business-level English OR native-level proficiency in English with business-level Japanese
Project leadership experience
Proven track record of contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
Knowledge of data strategy, process, and architecture
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, QlikSense, Power BI), Data Lake, DWH, Metadata Management, ETL, and MDM
Knowledge in data science (statistics, machine learning) and programming using Python or R
Experience in AI operations such as MLOps
Southeast Asia related consulting experience preferred
