About the position
You will lead the design of cross-sell and recommendation features across all user touchpoints. You will partner closely with engineers, user researchers, and product managers to create interactions that feel human, helpful, and seamless. This is a hands-on role where you will set UX strategy, drive complex design initiatives, and ensure our experiences are intuitive, scalable, and grounded in user needs.
You will take full ownership of the design process for a dedicated scrum team, from discovery to delivery. You will define the user experience, set the design vision, and ensure high-quality execution. You will also partner with product managers to shape product vision and roadmap, using data, research, and business context to inform your design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of cross-sell and recommendation workflows across all user touchpoints
- Set UX strategy and drive complex design initiatives for dedicated scrum teams
- Conduct discovery phases, run user interviews, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions
- Champion cohesion and consistency in UX design across a growing family of products
- Present work to peers and leadership, participate in design critiques and workshops
- Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable design solutions
- Partner with product managers to shape product vision and roadmap
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, process, and user-centered solutions
- Deep knowledge of UI design patterns and a creative approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders within an agile development process
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders
- Experience crafting sophisticated flows and customer journeys at a system level
Nice to have
- Experience in the travel industry or e-commerce
- Experience managing design teams or leading design initiatives
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
