Data Center Security Manager - Google

As a Data Center Security Manager, you will lead the global security program for designated locations, overseeing daily operations and vendor management. You will develop and execute cross-metro strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining a strong security posture. This role requires you to serve as the principal escalation point for security incidents and ensure compliance with regional governmental and regulatory requirements.

The Data Center Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management (CSRM) team is responsible for safeguarding people and assets within Google's critical infrastructure. You will utilize advanced security systems and comprehensive risk management frameworks to deliver and operate the safest, most secure, and resilient technical infrastructure. The team comprises industry-leading professionals dedicated to supporting all Google Data Centers through advanced security measures.

• Lead the global security program for designated locations, assuming overall responsibility for daily supervision and oversight of security, training, and risk management vendors.
• Develop and execute cross-metro or area strategies focusing on optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and upholding a strong security posture.
• Serve as the principal escalation point for security incidents at designated locations to ensure resolution of significant challenges.
• Ensure technical infrastructure locations meet all regional governmental and regulatory security requirements.
• Provide cross-functional teams with necessary support to achieve objectives and deliver value-added perspectives on project direction.

• Bachelor's degree in Fiscal Affairs, Construction, Communications, Business Support, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
• 5 years of experience in fiscal affairs, construction, communications, business support, or security management.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Thai to support local stakeholders.

• 5 years of experience coordinating or managing resources for data center locations and leading operational or project-based work.
• Knowledge of physical security and current security technology, including access control and CCTV.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment dependent on systems and technology on a daily basis.
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
