Quality & Risk Manager - Deloitte

You will serve as a key advisor and subject matter expert for reputation, quality, and risk management within the Tax & Legal (T&L) practice. This role involves executing quality and risk strategies across Thailand and Southeast Asia, fostering a robust risk culture, and developing policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. You will also manage contractual risks, conduct internal reviews, and deliver training programs to support the firm's risk management objectives.

This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks while collaborating with regional teams. You will be responsible for reviewing legal documents, managing compliance, and providing timely consultation to T&L personnel. The role demands strong judgment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of professional service.

• Execute quality and risk plans and strategies in collaboration with the Thailand T&L Leader and SEA Quality & Risk Leader
• Develop and foster a consultation network and a risk-aware culture within the T&L practice
• Create policies, processes, tools, and templates to enable efficient and compliant client engagement delivery
• Provide timely consultation on daily queries and legal matters for T&L personnel
• Review legal documents including contracts, NDAs, and engagement letters to manage contractual risks
• Conduct internal practice reviews, inflight reviews, and spot checks on policy compliance
• Track and monitor personnel compliance, evaluate non-compliances, and issue disciplinary actions
• Facilitate risk management learning programs for T&L professionals in Thailand and SEA
• Manage work priorities independently and escalate matters to the regional team as needed

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
• At least 7 years of professional services experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and risk identification skills
• Ability to work independently in the Bangkok office while collaborating virtually with regional colleagues
• Experience working collaboratively across different teams, businesses, and geographies
• Based in Bangkok with full-time office availability
• Willingness to travel overseas when required
• Knowledge of digitalization and technology is an advantage

• Experience in risk management, quality, compliance, legal, or tax advisory
• Strong facilitation and training skills
• Advanced understanding of regulatory frameworks in Thailand and SEA
