Medical Underwriting Analyst - AIA Group Ltd

• Underwrite medical cases for New Business and POS within authority limits and prepare exceed authority cases for committee review
• Review and reconsider appeal cases by providing clear explanations and alternative solutions to agents
• Participate in medical training sessions to improve underwriting performance and operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and contribute to a positive work environment
• Perform other related tasks as assigned to support business policy compliance and long-term growth

• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and medical case analysis
• Ability to review and reconsider appeal cases with a focus on customer service and agent support
• Commitment to continuous learning and participation in training sessions
• Attention to detail and adherence to underwriting standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with agents and internal teams

• Experience in insurance underwriting or actuarial science
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex cases to agents
• Proactive approach to identifying process improvements
• Knowledge of AIA products and services is a plus
