Risk Management Specialist - Lazada

This role serves as the primary point of contact for risk management issues, ensuring effective communication and coordination across departments. You will identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the organization, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies. The position involves developing and maintaining risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with Alibaba International's standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to conduct risk assessments, analyze trends, and report findings to senior management. Additionally, you will monitor and review existing controls to ensure their effectiveness in managing identified risks and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for risk management issues, ensuring effective communication and coordination across departments.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks to the organization, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with Alibaba International's standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct risk assessments, analyze trends, and report findings to senior management.
• Monitor and review existing controls to ensure their effectiveness in managing identified risks.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, incorporating relevant updates into risk management processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in risk management is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management / fraud management, preferably in a multinational company or within the e-commerce industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to do complex SQL, interpret complex data and present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, FRM).
• Experience in the e-commerce or fintech sector.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
