The Sortation Operations Lead oversees daily sortation center operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate parcel processing within required timelines. The role leads frontline teams, manages workflows, monitors SLAs, supports manpower planning, reports performance issues, and coordinates with operational stakeholders.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics management, supply chain, business administration, or a related field, with 3–6 years of warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce operations experience. Experience leading frontline teams, using spreadsheets, working with sorting machines and conveyors, and managing multiple priorities is required. Prior sortation center experience is advantageous. The role requires shift work, including nights, and extended hours during campaigns.
Lead end-to-end daily sortation center operations across inbound, sorting, and outbound teams
Ensure productivity, parcels per hour, accuracy, and on-time dispatch targets are achieved
Manage backlog, workflows, SLAs, shifts, staffing, and daily volumes
Track KPIs and drive process, layout, and SOP improvements
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams, while supporting safety, audits, and stakeholder coordination
Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics management, supply chain, business administration, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce operations
Experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced operation
Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
Ability to work with sorting machines and conveyors, manage deadlines, and work shifts including nights and extended campaign hours
Prior experience in a sortation center or high-volume fulfillment environment
English communication skills
