This is a back-end engineering summer internship in Bangkok, running from 24 May to 30 July 2027. The intern will contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs supporting core business functions such as inventory and pricing, customer data, communications, bookings, and payments. The work involves the product lifecycle from requirements and technology selection through coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Applicants should be studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field. Requirements include basic familiarity with object-oriented or functional programming, relational or non-relational databases, good English communication, and readiness to learn quickly. The posting welcomes candidates from early IT careers through experienced specialists, but candidates are not expected to know every technology used by the team.
Contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that serve millions of requests.
Use Scala, C#, Kafka, Spark, and agile development practices.
Apply CI/CD and testing techniques to support reliable operation without downtime.
Work across the product lifecycle, including requirements, technology selection, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Be studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Have basic familiarity with object-oriented and/or functional programming.
Have basic familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
Demonstrate good English communication skills.
Be ready to learn quickly.
Practical knowledge of Scala, C#, or Java; experience building back-end applications and services; understanding of system scaling; familiarity with data platforms; and knowledge of engineering infrastructure tools such as Git, TeamCity, and Puppet.
