About the position
The Business Intelligence Manager leads the Agency Business Intelligence function for AIG Thailand, delivering performance analytics, strategic insights, business planning support, and data-driven recommendations to enable informed decision-making and sustainable growth. The role partners with Agency Leadership and is accountable for reporting transformation, data governance, automation, and AI-enabled analytics across the Agency organization.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and experience in business intelligence, analytics, strategic planning, or performance management, ideally within insurance, financial services, banking, consulting, or distribution-focused organizations. Candidates need strong skills in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, along with fluency in Thai and business proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
Lead the Agency Business Intelligence roadmap and provide analytical insights across recruitment, activation, retention, productivity, persistency, and profitability metrics.
Support annual business planning, budgeting, target setting, forecasting, and scenario analysis activities.
Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, forecasts, and management reporting while driving reporting automation and dashboard modernization.
Establish and maintain data governance standards, data quality controls, reporting documentation, and knowledge management practices.
Partner with Agency, Finance, Product, Operations, Technology, Data, and regional stakeholders, and lead, coach, and develop the Business Intelligence team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
Experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Strategic Planning, Performance Management, Sales Analytics, or related functions.
Experience leading analytical, reporting, or business intelligence teams.
Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Fluency in Thai and business proficiency in English.
Nice to have
Experience within insurance, financial services, banking, consulting, or distribution-focused organizations; knowledge of data management, automation, cloud-based analytics, AI, or advanced analytics solutions.
