This role sits within Deloitte Southeast Asia's SAP team, driving the growth of SAP business in the region and responsible for the creation, sale, and delivery of SAP solutions including Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, and SAP Business Transformation. The Senior Consultant will engage clients in workshops, advise on leading practices, design target state SAP solutions, perform configuration and tests, lead teams through implementation cycles, and support change management activities.
Candidates require a good honors degree (preferably postgraduate) in IT, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields, with 6-8 years of SAP ABAP experience including 4-6 end-to-end full lifecycle implementations and team leading experience. SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage. Strong communication skills in English, consulting lifestyle appreciation, and willingness to travel are required.
Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements
Advise clients on industry/cross-industry leading practices and SAP recommended processes
Design target state SAP solutions and influence clients' thinking in adopting leading practices
Perform SAP configuration and tests; develop specifications for forms/reports/interfaces
Lead consultant and client teams through implementation cycle including testing, migration, and cutover
Good honors Degree, preferably postgraduate, in IT, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP Module with 4-6 end-to-end full lifecycle SAP implementations and team leading experience
SAP S/4 HANA experience is an advantage
Good communication and presentation skills in English
Willingness to work outside office base and travel (locally and abroad)
SAP S/4HANA experience; demonstrated success in multi-cultural work environment; sound business acumen and leadership qualities
